Compared to a few days earlier (pictures from 11 June), the westernmost crater was less active and seemed to have deepened, perhaps as the magma column inside subsided a bit. As consequence, its upper conduit filled in with more sandy debris, causing its eruptions to generate more ash. (Photo: Tom Pfeiffer)
